The PC gender selection doesn't matter at all because PC gender is fixed and set per story.
You should mention in the reflective portal story that the PC is attracted to women. When I saw M/M I expected a gay PC, but that clearly wasn't the case.
PC gender selection pertains to the player's gender within the void itself, or as written when they are 'outside of these interactive stories'. Once more content has been added to the void, through the planned feature of unlocking new landmarks for it, this gender selection will be taken into account for the scenes that occur here. At the moment, a player's selection at the start of the game may trigger a small blurb when it is different than the portal character's. I'll add some additional information within the game to clarify.
For the tagging of M/M for the reflective portal, I'll add a mention of the character's orientation as suggested. It was tagged this way due to it being a nsfw scene between a male beast rider and a male griffin.
Once again, thanks for the suggestions.
Edit:
Instead of an end of month build, an early hotfix has been posted to address some of the simpler suggestions. Let me know if the changes were helpful. We'll work to add additional content so gender selection has more impact in future builds.

I found a couple of issues:

Thanks for pointing these out.

You had me at "Feral" and "Slit Fucking". Excited for the M/M stories! :D
Happy to hear! We hope that our future M/M content lives up to your expectations!
This has POTENTIAL! You are a good writer! Please don't die on september 17, 2027.
Thank you for the kind words directed towards the team and I! Don't worry we're stocked up on totems of undying.
